The Mama Necklace is a beautiful gift for a new mother, featuring a chunky Sterling Silver or 9ct Yellow Gold disc hand-stamped with ‘MAMA’ on one side and a child’s initial, name and/or birthdate on the reverse.

Suspended on a delicate trace chain, this necklace is a cherished memento that allows a mother to carry her children close every day.

Personalise the reverse of the disc with a single initial in the centre and/or up to 15 characters along the bottom edge - including names and dates. Each character is individually stamped.

Presented in an eco-friendly aujune box with a care card and optional handwritten gift note, it’s ready to be cherished from the moment it arrives.

Choose either a single initial which will be stamped in the centre of the disc and/or or up to 15 characters (including spaces) to be stamped along the bottom edge (typically a name or date).

Characters available are the Roman Alphabet (A-Z) stamped in captials, Numbers 0-9, Period (.), Comma (,), Inverted comma ('), Dash (-), Quotation Marks ("), Degree Symbol ( °), the Ampersand (&), an outlined star (☆) a filled star (★), an outline heart (♡) and a filled heart (🖤).

All dates are stamped in the format dd.mm.yy.

On personalised items, each character is individually hand-stamped into the metal using a hammer and steel stamp rather than machine engraved. This means that there are sometimes subtle differences in character spacing, depth and alignment. This makes each piece completely unique - just like the memories it carries.

Variations in hand stamping do not constitute a design fault.

Each disc measures approx. 12mm in diameter and 1.5mm thick. MAMA is stamped on the front in 2mm capital letters. If an initial is chosen as the personalisation this will be stamped on the reverse in the centre in a 3mm capital letter. If names/dates are chosen as the personalisation these will be stamped on the reverse along the bottom edge in 1mm capital letters.

Delivery

All of our jewellery is hand-made to order. Please allow up to 2 weeks for Sterling Silver and up to 4 weeks for 9ct Gold for us to make and dispatch your order.

We deliver within the UK (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) and to the rest of the wrold (excluding Europe).

UK: All items under £150 are shipped via Royal Mail 48hr Tracked Letterbox Delivery (£3.95). All items over £150 are sent by Special Signed for Delivery (£6.95).

Returns

We hope that you love your new aujune jewellery, which is made by hand to the highest standards and undergoes rigorous quality checks before leaving our studio.

However, if for any reason you change your mind about your item or have ordered the incorrect size we do offer an exchange or full refund if the items are returned back to us, unworn and in their original condition and packaging, within 14 days.

Personalised items are not eligible for a replacement or refund (unless faulty or an error in personalisation has been made by us) as they cannot be resold.

Sterling silver jewellery can tarnish over time and care should be taken to avoid exposure to humidity, sweat, perfume, cosmetics, cleaning products or other chemicals.

Solid 9ct gold jewellery is durable and resistant to tarnishing so you can wear it almost all of the time.

Our jewellery is mainly made from either recycled 925 sterling silver or recycled 9ct gold.

Some of the smaller findings used in our jewellery - such as the jump rings - do not currently use recycled metals. However this is something our supplier is working towards and we will make the switch as soon as these become available to us.

As this product falls under the legal weight requirement for Sterling Silver hallmarking, this item is not hallmarked (but this can be arranged at additional cost by emailing us after you order).
